ePrize is Walking the Talk


I *LOVE* it when I hear of companies who not only talk about the right thing to do, but they live it.

I just read the story on Mashable about the company, ePrize, who offered a job to a student via Instagram. You can read the whole story here. In a nutshell, the Digital Marketing and PR team offered a student a job by posting an image to Instagram and tagging her on it. She had no idea that it was coming.


How fantastic that the owners of the company had been building a relationship with the student, and chose to communicate with her in the way that the student preferred. Needless to say, the student was excited and the company created a communication buzz.

So many companies adopt a “one-size fits all” approach to communications – whether it’s marketing, sales, recruiting, or internal dialogue.

“Our strategy as a company is always to reach consumers wherever they spend the most time — and to create special one-on-one connections. To practice what we preach, we wanted to create a fun surprise and delight experience for a future team member and start her marketing career off with a few Likes,” said Janice Pollard, digital marketing and public relations leader for ePrize.

Kudos to you, Janice and the team there at ePrize! I couldn’t have said it better.
